Nisargain height grow granules -
The product contains a wide range of ayurvedic herbs acting on various systems of the body in order to improve the height, increase growth, reduce debility, general weakness and increase weight in children.
Dose and course:
1 -2 tsp twice in a day or as directed by physician.
It is a non hormonal, efficacious and safe formula, made from the extracts of the following herbs which helps general growth with respect of height and weight.
Composition:
Amalaki, kapikachu, ashwagandha, shatavari, vidarikanda, kharjura, vatada, bhrngaraja, brahmi, guduchi, bhumymlaki, lavanga, masha, chandrashura, vacha, vidanga, ela, pippali, maricha, shunti, jeeraka, mukulaka, arogyavardhini.
1. Amlaki
Fruits of amlaki are considered as best among the fruits according to the vedic literature, amlaki is most commonly and most importantly used in ayurvedic medicine .It is considered as the best among vayasthapana drugs (which arrests ageing factor ).Both the classical literature and scientific studies prove that the amlaki is an immunomodulator , antioxidant, tonic, antidiabetic and hypocholesteraemic, agent.The vitamin C present in the fresh fruit and tannins present in the dried ones are held responsible for the pharmacological properties of amlaki.
2. Kapikacchu
Parts used are seeds it contains L-dopa, gallic acid, pruning, it is a well known aphrodisiac, it increased libido and potency,it is balya (strengthing ), brhumana (nourishing ), it is a growth inhibitor .
3.Ashwagandha
A well documented herb in ancient Indian medicine and considered as panacea. The parts used are roots the constituent present like withanolid , withasomniferen acts excellently in dourbalya (weakness). It is used as general tonic and aphrodisiac agent from the medieval period. It is wonderful remedy for the emaciated.
4. Shatavari
Shatavari is an extensively, used as a tonic, it is immunomodulator, properties, it contains sarpanogenin, , the crude alcoholic extracts of the roots increases weight and is growth promoter as it has direct action on the pitutory- adrenal axis due to secretion of prolactin, which inhibits growth factor.
5. Vidarikanda
It is balya (strengthing) ,brumhana (nourishing), drug which helps in nourishment of the bodily tissues , the parts used of the drug is tubers and it is immunomodulator ,.
6. Kharjura
The parts used are the fruits the chemical constituents are vitamin A,B,D it is aphrodisiac and a well known nutrient agent .
7. Vatada
It possess properties like vrushya (aphrodisiac), it is strength promoting and nourishing it enriches good hair growth,
8. Brungaraja
It is known for its cosmetic an as well as medicinal value it is extensively used as a best hair tonic .it is hepato protective,balya, (strength promoting )it has constituents like ecliptine the extracts of plant has anti viral activity.
9. Brahmi
Brahmi is known to be medhya , rasayana, increases intellectual power,it has alkaloid ascorbic, acid, nicotinic, acid , herpestine, the extract improves the motor learning stimulation of pituatory gland.it promotes sound sleep and inhibits hair growth.
10. Amrutha
It is one of the extensively used herb mentined in ayurveda , it is a brain tonic and vayahsthapana(arrests ageing factor) , the parts used are stem and the leaves it is a valuable tonic, anti pyretic, anti oxidant, medhya (increases intellectual power) rasayana (rejuvenator) , jeevaniya (that which gives life), .It contains tinosporin, cordifolic and cordifor..
11.Bhumyalaki
It contains phyllanthin, hypophyllanthin, nirtetrallin, nirphyllin, , it has an excellent effect on immuno activity ability, it is hepatoprotective, , it enhances the activity and proper functioning of the liver .
12. Lavanga
Parts used are floral buds it contains eugenol, furfural, methyl benzoate, vanillin, and it corrects metabolism,
13. Masha
It is a balya (strengthing), jeeviniya( nutritious)
14.Chandrashura
Contains alkaloid lepidine, and lepidimoide, the drug is having balya and jeevaneeya properties.
15.Vacha
It contains volatile oil, acorin, acrotein calamerene calcium oxalate, asaryl aldehyde and camphene. , it is a brain tonic and vayahsthapana(arrests ageing factor) , the parts used are stem and the leaves it is a valuable tonic, anti pyretic, anti oxidant, medhya (increases intellectual power) rasayana (rejuvenator) , jeevaniya (that which gives life).
16.Vidanga
It contains , embelin, homoembelin, and it has deepana qualities
17. Ela
It is a well documented aromatic condiment in the Indian medicine and tradition.It contains Borneol, campene sisosterol , this forms to be excellent when taken with honey and corrects the metabolism.
18. Pippali
Pippali plays a prominent role in rejuvenation as it is a rasayana ,it is a very old drug known for longiness .The pellotorin type of isobutylamide was reported to exhibit significant increase in body weight , suppression of cough etc.
19. Maricha
This is a plant is described as appetizer, carminative and anti-microbial , the constituent present are piperone , piperethine , piperolin, which proves to be an excellent remedy for cough .It is reported to be inhibitory to E.coli and is antifungal , insecticidal, and anti bacterial.
20. Shunti
The curcumene, camphene , citranellol present in the drug acts as a deepana
(the one which enhances the digestive fire) .It has shown marked anti inflammatory actions it not only increases the digestion activity but also improves appetite.
21. Jeeraka
It is extremely used in ayurvedic therapeutic preparations both individually and as well as in combination, it is mainly used as a carminative and digestive,It is a hrudya ( that which protects heart and its functions) .It contains Cuminum , apigenin and p.cymene.
22. Chitraka
It is known to reduce serum cholesterol and ldl cholesterol phospholipids ratio and elevates cholesterol significantly , it prevents accumulation of cholesterol and triglyceride .
23.Mukulaka
The herb like a madhura rasa(seet taste), it has vrushya (aphrodisiac), brumhana (nourishing ), raktaprasadaka(haematinic) and balya(nourishing ).
24.Arogyavardhini:
Described in the classical text of ayurvedic is a combination of shuddha parada gandhaka, loha bhasma, abhraka bhaskma , tamra bhasma triphala shudha shilajitu it reduces vatha in the obesity patients it is having anti pyretic properties , this formulation reduces tiredness , exhaustion caused in the obese patients.
Indications
:Malnourished children, Emaciation, kshaya, general debility, indigestion.
Adjuvant
